What is new about the Tesla Powerwall 3?
Built in solar inverter
The Powerwall 3 includes a built-in solar inverter, unlike the Powerwall 2. For existing systems with their own inverters, you can choose an AC-coupled option.
Increased power output
The updated Powerwall keeps the 13.5 kWh storage of the Powerwall 2 but increases the power output to 11.04 kW, compared to the previous 5 kW.
Whole home back up & storm watch
The new Powerwall can provide backup power during outages and support more devices at once. With a maximum output of 11.04 kW, it helps keep more of your household appliances running. The Powerwall 3 automatically charges to full in severe weather.
System expansion
You can connect up to four units, each providing a maximum of 40.5 kWh. These units are designed for easy installation and are more cost-effective compared to adding another Powerwall 3. If you would like to know more about the Powerwall 3, please get in touch.
